Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austin

I enjoy Jane Austin for her biting social commentary and perceptive sense of human nature. Pride and Prejudice is a favorite. So I decided I had to read Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austin. Of course it's good. It's Jane Austin, but I didn't love it as much as Pride and Prejudice.

The story involved two sister, each facing a similar loss of love. One responds with passion; the other responds much more sensibly. Like all Austin novels, the character can be a bit clichéd, but she's obviously patterning them on real people.

I'm glad I read it. Now I'll have to watch the movie!
