Murder in the Cathedral by T.S. Eliot

Murder in the Cathedral by T.S. Eliot is on my list of books to read "before I die." Plus I really like what little I've read of Eliot (Prufrock, Wasteland). 

But... I did not love this book. 

I thought I would. I'm familiar with the story he is dramatizing and I love it.

But it was just too... esoteric.

It's a play, which I didn't know. It has a chorus, which is odd. It's written in verse, which is tough. It assumes a lot!

So I read it. I can check it off. I'm not recommending it.
